Sweet spaghetti

Meaningless sweet spaghetti

with my one and only chocolate ganache, fruit, and incomparable Irish Cream



1 1/2 pounds spaghetti

3/4 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Irish Cream, liqueur

Juice of 1 orange

7 1/2 ounces dark chocolate, roughly chopped

12 strawberries, sliced

Toasted pecans, to taste

Toasted pistachios, to taste

  1. Prepare the spaghetti according to the package directions.
  1. While the spaghetti cooks, bring the cream to a simmer over medium heat. Whisk in the Irish Cream and orange juice, then pour over the chopped chocolate in a large heatproof bowl. Let sit until the chocolate begins to melt, about 1 minute, then whisk into a smooth chocolate ganuche.
  1. Drain the cooked spaghetti, then toss with the chocolate ganuche. Top with strawberries and toasted nuts and serve immediately.
