Max Brenner Dictionary

Every culture has its own language – and Max Brenner Chocolate Bar is no different. Below, we’ll describe a few words used commonly by Max Brenner (i.e. Hug Mug) and explain their origin.

Hug Mug: The Hug Mug is a cocoa bean-shaped mug designed specifically for the hot drinking ceremony! Place hands on both sides of the mug (giving it a hug), breathe in the rich aroma of the drink and sip through the narrow lip.

Alice Cup: Named after the children’s fairytale Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the Alice Cup is the ultimate way to drink icy choctails. Inspired by the scene where Alice drinks from the bottle labeled “Drink Me”, this cup reinforces Max’s notion of being forever young.

Fun Fact: Take a break from your choctail and check out the top of the cup. You might just see the Cheshire Cat grinning up at you.

Suckao: The Suckao allows you to prepare and drink a pure shot of hot chocolate. Its name is derived from two words: “Suck” – in this case, to pull thick hot chocolate through the metal drinking straw and “Kakao” – Spanish for “cocoa beans” , the raw material from which the drink is made. Scoop solid chocolate chunks into the Suckao’s warm milk and stir. Then, drink up!

Kangaroo Cup: Designed to honor the close relationship between chocolate and coffee, the Kangaroo Cup is a cappuccino cup with a small pouch (hence the name) that holds smalls pieces of solid chocolate. Savor the mixture of melting chocolate and hot espresso with every sip.

Fun Fact: The Kangaroo Cup comes with a Mix/Lick Spoon so you can enjoy every bit of leftover chocolate from inside the pouch.
