<p>Oh, winter. We’re all wishing for a swift end to these bitter cold months. Sure, the occasional snow dusting may be a pretty sight &#8211; but frigid temperatures and blizzard conditions are absolutely chilling. Enter: Comfort food. Cozying up and catching up with our loved ones over warm, hearty dishes is the perfect way to cope with the worst winter weather. <span id="more-2423"></span></p> <p>Today, we’ve launched 18 new delicious dishes to our <a href="http://maxbrenner.com/assets/images/home/menu2017.pdf" target="_blank">Savory Menu</a>! Below we’ve put together a list of our favorite comfort foods from the menu that are sure to warm your heart this season:</p> <h3><strong>Mac N&#8217; Cheese</strong></h3> <p>Say CHEESE! A dish that is sure to make anyone smile. What could be better than creamy, delicious, cheesy macaroni on a cold winter&#8217;s day? The answer? Warm, al dente pasta is a comfort classic – and we’ve got some new savory penne dishes that can keep you toasty all winter long!</p> <p><em>MB’s take: &#8220;</em>Cream Ragu Penne&#8221; – beef, garlic, chili, cheddar, mozzarella, panko, parsley, parmesan – who knew heaven was actually just the combination of eight ingredients?</p> <p>Or – are you a fan of spinach and artichoke dip? Try our Spinach &amp; Artichoke Penne. You won’t be sorry.</p> <h3><strong>Chicken and Waffles</strong></h3> <p>Some southern comfort to the rescue! Savory and sweet, warm fried chicken and waffles is a proven palate pleaser. Today I am married with a beautiful five-month-old baby girl and my inspiration still &#8211; and will always &#8211; come from the heart.</p> <p><strong>Q:</strong> I see you put a spin on some classic go-to dishes – chicken and waffles, cheesesteaks, mac n’ cheese – how do you make these your own?</p> <p><strong>A: </strong>It’s not easy with classics. People expect certain dishes to reflect what they&#8217;ve eaten in the past. At Max Brenner, we like to take the same classic dish and give it a twist for uniqueness in flavor and presentation.</p> <p><strong>Q:</strong> What’s your favorite part about creating a new menu?</p> <p><strong>A:</strong> My favorite part is after the conception of an idea and bringing it to life. I dream about new dishes and the fun part comes when we make the dream realized.</p> <p><strong>Q:</strong> What do you think will be the biggest hit from the Savory Menu?</p> <p><strong>A:</strong> That’s a tough one because obviously, I want all the new dishes to be a hit. The staff has heavily favored the &#8220;Farmer’s Market Flatbread Pizza,&#8221; and the &#8220;Really- Cheesy Shrimp, Chorizo and Truffle Mac and Cheese.&#8221;</p> <p>Savory. EAT (RED) SAVE LIVES with Max Brenner

<p>Max Brenner has joined the fight to end AIDS with EAT (RED) SAVE LIVES. This June, we’re introducing two new specialty menu items that are sure to delight you in more ways than one. All proceeds from the (RED) Velvet Waffle &amp; Strawberry Mimosa will go straight to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, which means that you can enjoy these “limited time-only” creations guilt-free.<br /> To date, (RED) has generated more than $465 million for the Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS grants in sub-Saharan Africa. Global Fund grants that (RED) supports have impacted more than 90 million people with prevention, treatment, counseling, HIV testing and care services.
